I would love it if a vacation mode could be added to the Android core OS. We all know there is an airplane mode which disable everything on all cell phones.
I think in this always stay connected working world we live in, it would be great to have a vacation mode.
Vacation mode would be a switch to be turned on and off, and it would hold back emails only.
Data, phone and texting all would still work.
I don't know about others, but on vacation as emails come in, I always have to look I case it is something I can quickly address. In doing so, I never truly disconnect. If I could flip the switch, enjoy a meal, day at the beach etc....maybe turn it on at night, clean up my mailbox, and off again, would be a huge blessing and a welcomed brain break.
