Verizon 3g speeds down?

I live & work in the DC, MD, & ,VA area. I have noticed more so in the last few weeks that the 3g speeds are down. Has anyone noticed this in your city or in the DMV area?

I live in so cal, east of LA and all I get is 1x on my phone all day. No 3 or 4 G... I was too wondering if something's up

OTA updates are going out (Droid X), I have noticed in the past that when updates are being pushed the network tanks.

My wife has the Thunderbolt, and she switches between 3G and 4G pretty frequently using that app. I can't say that I've seen a big drop in the 3G speed. It still seems damn fast to me, at least when it comes to DLing apps and browsing the web. We live in NoVA.
