verizon 4g lte to straight talk

I have a verizon Samsung galaxy s4 prepaid. I'm thinking about bringing it to straight talk as I'd get more data and not have to worry about caps, just data slowing on me.

Would my phone use the verizon network? All of the other networks suck around here.

Also, would I still get 4g lte at the same speeds as I currently do?

If the phone is LTE: (1) isn't blacklisted and (2) has been active on the Verizon network for at least six months, it should work with a Straight Talk Verizon LTE SIM card.

As for LTE speeds, here in the Boston area, Verizon throttles the Straight Talk LTE customers to 3Mbps download and ~1Mbps upload.
