Root [Verizon] Blocking Mode

I would like to use the S3 Blocking Mode feature but I have a Verizon phone. I was able to create a short cut for the blocking mode and then I set it up but it still did not work (Tried blocking everything except favorites then tried blocking everything) but it did not work. So I am suspecting that for some reason Verizon not only hid blocking mode but also disabled it.
I wanted to know if anyone else was successful in getting their Verizon S3 to work with the Blocking Mode and if yes, was there phone rooted or did they have to do anything special.
Thanks for your help.

With Verizon, I`ve read that that feature does not work. Not sure why. If you want your number blocked when calling with Verizon, use the prefix *67 before the number (*67-555-1212).

I know that you are correct and I am looking for a call blocking app that will allow me to block some numbers and at other times I want allow ALL numbers.

ANYONE: Please only respond if you know the app works with Verizon S3 (I have tried some apps without success).

I don`t know of an app that does that . . . A suggestion would be to edit your contacts: Add a *67 prefix to the ones you want to always block, & maybe store a duplicate number in the same contact without the block, for the times you dont need to block . . . just a thought

Again, I am looking for an app that does what I described and PLEASE only respond if you know of an app that does it AND works on a VERIZON S3
