Verizon changed data plans 11/1/14

Looks like yesterday some changes came in. 10gb of data on a family plan is now $80 per month. This was the pricing for 6gb of data prior. Plus the 10gb plan gets you a $25 discount per line if on edge or out of contract(have to call in for this discount).

Looks like several of the plans went down in price, though you have to log in and change to the newly reduced priced plan to get the lower price.

With four phones and 10GB:
$140 on Verizon Edge
$240 on More Everything

The Edge pricing is for contact-less lines as well. Make sure you remind them of that.

So when you log in and choose a different plan (Assume 10GB), will the Edge and NON-Contract phones still have the $25 discount? or is it better to call and have that corrected?

If it's on there now, then yes, it will stay. I changed mine last month when they had that promo going and all lines kept the $25 discount. Whenever I make a change online I double check the first day of my new billing cycle just to be sure.

The only time I had to call was to actually get the discount in the first place, it did not kick in automatically like I thought it would. Now that it's there though it sticks.

Just be sure to double check them

Just called and changed it to take advantage of the pricing
