Root [Verizon] CleanRom 6R2 question

Strange issue with CleanRom 6r2 w/AOSP 2,74 theme . . .
Been running flawlessly for several weeks, still is running fine, perfectly, actually. As stable or maybe even moreso than the stock rom.

So last night I decided to do a backup. No sweat . . . reboot recovery, Do the backup just like dozens of times before. Recovery finishes the backup as usual(twrp 2.5.0.0.). So I decided to wipe the Cache/Davlik while in recovery. Done. Reboot system. Android is updating apps . . . blah blah . . . as it usually does after a davlik/cache wipe. System loads, normal as usual. everything perfect . . except that myfiles.apk is missing from the app drawer. So,as usual I investigate. Myfiles.apk is now missing from /system/app . . . ?

A simple re-installation of the 2.7.4 theme brought it back.
Back to normal again.

Anyone else on CleanRom 6R2 with this theme experience this ? Weird.

Hey Talon! Haven't seen ya round in while man:)

Anyways, had to say hey!
I don't run that theme, but is myfiles something like a file browser such as ES File Explorer?

Hey right back at ya Mike . . . Yea. Been away from the forums for a few days. Anyway,as far as I know, myfiles.apk is the stock android file browser (not root capable). Scott includes it in his roms & themes. The only reason I noticed it missing is that it is on my homescreen. I typically/primarily use root explorer to browse & what not, however myfiles works better for re-locating or moving pix & music files around & is more friendly with the gallery app. You know me . . . I really dont care that it disappeared . . . I just wondered WHY it did . . . Hmmm . .

lol..I know that will bug you to no end :p
I took a look at that theme...does it install with the aroma installer and you have the choice of themed apps? One of which was myfiles?

did you try to clear cache and dalvik again to try and reproduce the issue?

I think its just in the package generally . . I dont think that you can opt out of that particular app. I'm thinking 1 of 2 things . . . Either the davlik wipe took it out, or, I saw on the twrp 2.5.0.0. Download page that the 2.5.0.0. Version might not play well with custom themes, although I've had no other issues. Or maybe a combination of the wipe/theme/twrp deal
