Root [Verizon] Color The Top Bar

OK, so I haven't flashed a custom Rom just yet. And I'm not sure that I will to be honest. I did root though and was able to dump a bunch of bloatware and crap. However with the new 4.4 KitKat update.....I hate the white icons up at the top bar. I want ICS blue back. My question and thoughts are this. Is there a way to theme it? Bring color to those icons? I have Nova Prime so is that the way to go about it? Thanks ahead of time!!

Install xposed then install g2 Tweaksbox. Color is an option from that app.

Well, I got those things now. One problem it requires a donation to unlock all the options I want. I'm broke so I don't have the buck it costs. And the tweaks app keeps telling me the xposed module isn't installed or active but it is active. I've checked multiple times. Oh well.

launch xposed installer app, go into Frameworks and install update then reboot. After you download a modual make sure to activate it by checking the box, then reboot

if you can find the money to unlock it is worth it...so many options

I've done all that. A couple times in fact. All I want is the blue icons back.
