Root [Verizon] Connect to different Carrier tower?

I get great signal with Verizon towers except where I work. My employer has a Sprint tower on top of the building so the company phones will work. Is there any way to get my S3 to connect to the Sprint tower instead of getting no signal at all?

Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Being on a Verizon device with the radio hardware built for Verizon's network, you will not be able to connect to a different carriers towers.

Edit: ya know, I was thinking about this....on my last device, the Evo4G, I was able to change my prl to run on Verizon's towers whilst on Sprint carrier. That was alot of roaming tho when I was on Verizon's towers

I never researched the possibility of doing the same with the S3....so I may be incorrect
If it is possible, that would incur alot of roaming I would think

It should be able to connect to sprint 3g, just as sprint can do Verizon


I've never hear of anyone WANTING sprint though

My setup on my gnex to switch from sprint to Verizon on the go. I just tap the carrier I want and the phone reboots.


My s3 is with samsung for a warranty repair. So I can't test prl writes

If you aren't getting any Verizon signal, it should automatically pick up the sprint tower. Make sure you have roaming enabled

I think that my work uses the Airave device for Sprint. Could my Verizon phone use that signal from the Sprint Airave?
