Root [Verizon] corrupt bootloader, jtag can't fix

I bricked my verizon galaxy s3 the other day trying to root and unlock which didn't take so I thought I would try to odin the original verizon rom. I did this but I think I may have unplugged it too soon or something. The computer said briefly that it found new hardware, then nothing. I sent it to mobiletech videos and Josh said he couldn't fix it. The bootloader was corrupt and he doesn't have the capability to get into it. My question is, can Samsung fix it or is it toast? He offered to buy it from me for parts. What do I do?

Welcome to AF !!
If they couldn't fix it, then you could try Samsung....no guarantee, but worth a try.
I hear that mobiletech is good at what they do, so if they have no luck, especially with a jtag, then I doubt Samsung would be able to do anything.

Those are my thoughts, and I welcome any others' thoughts on this too:D

If the bootloader is corrupt and can't be reflashed, then I'm guessing hardware replacement is probably the only option left. Whether that means a new device, or replacing the necessary parts inside the device.

yeah, I echo mikestony - the mobiletech guys are excellent. from what I understand, their process IS the one that Samsung uses. probably SOL on the phone at this point.
