Verizon Edge Program

Hey guys I am still at a slump and wanna get the opinion of fellow verizon users. Is the edge truly worth it? I am now a recovering crack flashing addict, and i want to sign up but I wanna get your opinions. Right now I currently have the g2. I like the idea of new phone every year, but the monthly payment seems sketchy. opinions please.

You do get the discount as well to offset the Edge payment. If you have a 10+ GB plan the discount is $25. Brings the G3 payment down to $5.
