Verizon edge?!

So currently I'm on virgin mobile. I hate the high priced model of normal contracts, and I don't really like paying for the phone outright.. I'm thinking Verizon edge might be the perfect solution! I get the phone I actually want and on the Verizon network! What are your guys thoughts on Verizon edge? Too much a rip off of T-Mobile? I don't care either way, T-Mobile (imo) stinks anyways

Just found out Verizon edge is not anything like I thought. It's only available for existing customers. So your already on contract.

Verizon Edge (and similar programs from ATT & T-Mobile) end up costing you a lot of money. It's much more cost effective to use the same phone for a couple years.

Other then a contract or paying full price for the phone, you could buy a used phone. Just make sure it works properly and isn't stolen.
