Verizon Exchange Policy

Is the exchange policy 14 days or 30 days? My wife is beginning to regret her switch to the iPhone 4s and is thinking hard about exchanging for the Rezound (which is what I have). Problem is it has been more than 14 days (which is what VZW policy indicates is the limit). It hasn't yet been 30 days, and I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck exchanging within 30 days.

In my experience Verizon is very nice if you talk to the right people. I've always spoken very nicely to them and they worked with me.

I had a problem my fathers Samsung Charge he got back in July and he had to return once. I explain the problem with tech and after some persuasion they are now swapping the charge for a "Like New" Rezound. Which is awesome.

Your well within the window to do the swap.

i think the standard is 14 days

however if you get a CSR in a good mood they may help you out. Best way is just call or go up there.

My advice....which I've done before!

Call tech support first, tell them your wife would really like to take advantage of VZW's fantastic 4G speeds...And seeing how much you like your phone has made her really want to give Android a try. Tell them your willing to pay the restocking fee, and blah blah blah...

They will most likely note the account, and send you into the store. Speak to the Manager and nobody else in the store and explain to them the same story you explained to Customer Service...

Honestly you should have zero issues. My lady had her Razr for over 30 days when she decided she wanted to switch over to the Nexus like me....We got an awesome Mgr that took care of everything in a matter of 15 min. Most of the time you get more bees with honey...Just be cool and you should have no issues.

They couldn't do it. They were more than willing to replace with a "certified new" Rezound, but because the iPhone was 3G and the Rez was 4G, the "system" wouldn't let them do it. They can't replace a 3G phone with a 4G phone. She could've given me a 3G android phone, but that wouldn't have been worth it considering the cost. We might try to sell the iPhone on ebay and see if we can get the cost for a new Rez.

I was able to get my dad's Samsung Charge replaced with a "certified new" Rezound. ITs running great. I wouldn't be worried about the certified new aspect. It still carries the full warranty and support.

I'd try again. And try to get a guy CSR. That may sound sexist but guys are more prone to be gadget freaks and will sympathize with gadget geekiness. (Women play it by the book.) Especially if the said CSR is an Android owner. Their supervisor can make exceptions to the system. My upgrade date was tomorrow. Jan 21. I got the Nexus on December 15th after two tries. Now I have the Rezound. :-) Just make sure you have a good story and sell it.

Well, no luck with Verizon. Apparently the issue is going from a 3G device to a 4G device. I tried 2 diff customer service reps and in store manager. All said the same thing, but were willing to do the exchange if it weren't for the computer restriction. So, sold the iPhone on Ebay and got a new Rez for $50 less. I guess the apple fanboy community pays off in this instance.
