Help Verizon Galaxy s5 activated on att

How can I get my galaxy s5 to do a software update. I've been trying for nearly 2 months but anytime I try it says system unavailabale. Am I unable to update the phone since it's verizon and I now have it activated under att? Help please

Sorry, but you don't, and can't.

Unless, you download the firmware for the lastest Verizon phone, and then go thru the hassle of getting it back on AT&T.
you need Odin to do that.

You can use Verizon Software Update and Repair tool to update but as stated by AZgl1500, you will have to set it back up as GSM to get it back on ATT.

I have used on several phones that are not active or on Straight talk. Just remove the sim before trying the update. Doesn't require active Verizon service
