Root [Verizon] Help with Flash Player

php111

Android Enthusiast
Hello all!
I was wondering about Flash Player.
I understand that I can download the latest version of flash...11.1 from the Adobe Archive website because JB no longer supports it.
My device is Galaxy S3
I am rooted.
I am on the CleanROM
I am on JB version 4.1.2
I am using stock browser on my device.

My question is, when I go to this website on my device: (don't worry, it's clean and not spam etc...) Learn Italian - Introduction (Italian 101, Unit 1, Lesson 1)
I cannot view some things because it says I need Flash 11.3

What can I do, to view things that require Flash when I cannot get Flash? Or is there a different browser that would allow me to view these things?

Hello php!
I see what you mean. I went to that link on my device also, but I use Boat Browser and also cannot view the slideshow (viewable on my computer).

I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere..., sorry I cannot be of more assistance as I don't browse the internet much on my device:)

Thank you! Have you tried both of those sites that you said edit and did it work? I haven't looked at those sites because I just seen your reply now, and I was replying first before looking at them.

I don't know if this will work, but its worth my suggestion and for me asking about it.

Grab a spare S3, and take off Flash, and then use the "new" and "slow" HTML that is slowly taking over Adove Flash, and setup the phone so all page won't require Flash, but instead would use the slow version of HTML?

I believe HTML is slower then Adobe for the Flash Player, so that is why I said slow.

Maybe HTML5 could be used as an alternative to Adobe Flash Player in this case?

1.) Does the S3 even support the HTML5 code?

2.) Are there even such browsers out that supports the HTML5?

If the answer is even a NO to question #1, then don't bother with #2, lol. I mean if its a direct problem with Adobe alone then HTML5 would fix the problems? Have you ever thought about that?
