Root [Verizon] HELP!!

I just rooted my s3 and installed CWM touch recovery. I went to flash the newest carbon rom 1.7 and when i went to flash it it said installation aborted and i hit reboot and now it is stuck at the Samsung Galaxay S3 screen. Help me please.

Did you check the md5 of the download?
Also make sure you choose the rom version for your device...a version for another device won't work, so double check that too

I did not check the md5 of the rom (will do so next time) and i downloaded the Verizon version of carbon from their download list. Could it be my recovery? When it failed there was a red triangle with an exclamation point in the middle in the open section of the droid.

Well, I don't know what the error message looks like for a failed install, but is your bootloader unlocked?
Some custom roms won't/can't install without an unlocked bootloader.

When i downloaded all my necessary files i did download the root and unlocked bootloader file. I flashed back to stock via odin and will root and try to flash a different rom tomorrow. Ill get back to you once ive tried it.
