Root [Verizon] How can I get the Android 4.0 keyboard back?

Hey guys - I just finally got Cyanogen mod on my Verizon GS3, and I love it, all except for the keyboard. Back before I rooted, I used this keyboard (Install Stock Android 4.0 Keyboard on Galaxy S3, Should Work with Other Devices as Well) and I loved it because it had that beautiful row at the top for common punctuation, like comma, question mark, colon, etc.

The official Google Keyboard, now in the Play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin&hl=en) doesnt seem to have that home row. I really want it back, and for some reason when I try to install that stock 4.0 keyboard, it says "app not installed" and isn't working.

Can anyone help me? I just want that home row of punctuation back.

You may have to manually push it to /system/app via Root Explorer.
Just rename the current LatinIME.apk to LatinIME.apk.bak and move the new one to /system/app.
Set permissions to the same rw-r--r-- and reboot.
That should work. :)
