Root [Verizon] Invalid MDN

Guys..
I can't add my Hotmail account from: setting - add account
The error message is: invalid MDN

What should I do to fix it?

Device: s3 Verizon
Rom: Clean rom r2

Although I don't use hotmail, the only thing I can find about that "invalid mdn" message, is Mobile Device Number.

Does your gmail work ok, or do you not use that?

Did hot mail work before the rooting/rom flash?

Thanks for the fast response..
My Gmail works just fine
So do the others accounts such as Facebook twitter etc

The only one that doesn't work is just Hotmail (email)

I bought a rooted S3, so I don't have any idea if it works before rooted

hmmm, I would then suspect some issue with hotmail itself.

Like I said, I don't use hotmail, but does that error come up immediately when choosing to add hotmail? Or does it come up when entering your account name/password for it?

Hello Mike,

The error message came out immediately after I chose to add email

"unable to connect to server - invalid MDN" message flash out about 2 seconds

So after clicking "add email", this screen never came up?

Yes it did came up..
But in the buttom section, the message pop up for about 2 seconds
I tried to captured but I couldn't get the pop up message.. It's too quick

Can you boot into recovery, and try to clear cache and dalvik cache, then reboot.
Sometimes when things act wonky, a simple cache clearing will help
