I unlocked my phone to see at the top "Downloading Software from Verizon Wireless"! Can't say for sure that it is KitKat but its already been downloading for 15 min and i'm 30% in. I'll Keep you guys updated.

I personally have not yet. So far, I don't note anything strange, except perhaps battery use that seems higher that what I was getting before, but it's likely, in the process of the new load, the battery stats used for modelling consumption are invalid and I need to do a few charge cycles for it to be more accurate.

I made a comment in the other thread about the white icons on light-grey in the status bar. They are sort of growing on me.

As a precaution, I think people should back up their images and write down account names, critical numbers, apps you have loaded, or resent message contents that are important so if you have to do a Factory Reset, your inconvenience is minimal.

I googled whether or not i would lose my pics and the site said i would and that i would have to reinstall all the updates i had installed prior

You'll need to reinstall downloaded apps and updates to system apps. But your typical factory reset shouldn't uninstall OTA updates.

It wipes the data partition, which also wipes the caches. Its the cluttered cache that causes most problems for people after an OTA.

Just did a factory reset and reinstalled everything and wow phone is so much better. Now debating whether to root or not to freeze bloat
