Root [Verizon] Mobile data not working please help

So I'm having a bit if an issue with getting my data to turn on/work. I was running a Jellybam rom on 4.2 about a month ago and I decided I would upgrade to a 4.3 rom. Up until then my data was working normal and I could get 3g just about all around town. So after searching I settled for the ;latest PAC-man rom on 4.3 and loved the features it came with. Theres only one issue though...Now when i turn my data on and wifi off to access 3g or 4g I am extremely lucky if I even get a 1x signal. I am talking once in a blue moon this will happen. I know my data is working thought because when I download or send a MMS, I will instantly get 3g or 4g about 50% of the time but as soon as it is finished, all data is lost again. I have tried going back to Jellybam and reinstalled PAC but nothing helps fix it. This is really becoming annoying now because I cannot use gps or pandora in my car anymore. Please help!
 
Welcome to the forums, shewantsmyduck! (love the name btw ;))
Couple things you can try: toggling airplane mode and if that doesn't work, pull your SIM out and then put it back in. It's possible that may be causing the problem.
Also, did you flash any new radios? And which one are you on?
 
Haha thanks! And I've toggled airplane mode countless times and have pulled the SIM card multiple times and am still having the problem. When I first installed this rom I was having issues getting my camera to work (kept getting an error saying something alone the lines of Camera Cannot Connect) and was told to flash the newer VRBMF1. This is what I'm currently on and did fix the issue, but every once and awhile I will get a camera error which a reboot fixes. I was (I think) using VRBMB1.
 
Is this an AOSP ROM? I've had a lot of problems with using the stock camera app (Google, not Sammy). Do you have data issues when using another ROM?
 
Yes, PAC Man rom is an aosp rom, and I've tried using 2 different Jellybam roms, update my PAC man rom, and have tried a CM 10.1 rom to no avail. I'm not doing much today so I might nandroid backup and try another rom. The thing is, I love the PAC rom because it is a hybrid with paranoid, aokp, and cm. Jellybam is a hybrid like this too, but causes my phone to freeze at least twice a day.
 
Does that PAC-man ROM play nice with MF1? It may not be compatible. And, since you upgraded to MF1, maybe your old Jellybam was only compatible with the MB1 radio?

Are you on nightlies? They can blow out yer bearings it seems. Or, maybe you need to flash the new one?

Have you searched the PAC-man thread over on xda?
 
Everything else seems to work perfectly fine. I've posted over at xda multiple times and never received any answers, that's why I came here haha. And I'm going to install the latest cm 10.2 nightly and see if that fixes anything, I will report back later.
 
After using CM 10.2..im still having the problem. I do get 1x a bit more consistent now, but still pretty rare. Do you think getting a new 4g sim card would work?
 
Ok, I think tomorrow night I will factory restore then reroot and install CM 10.2 again. I have MyBackup Root, titanium backup, and I made a nandroid backup. Is there anything else I should backup before I factory restore?
 
By SD card do you mean internal or external? And I've got everything I think then haha and in the link you posted before, the one person said they called *2767*3855# after factory restoring. I googling that number and it says it completely wipes internal and external SD cards. If I do this without my external SD in my phone so it doesn't get wiped then afterwards insert it,do you think will things be messed up?
 
By SD cards I meant both yes if there was something on there that you needed saved such as pics or documents or music or something

If you type that code with no external card obviously it won't find it to wipe it... If you then put it back in I don't foresee any issues
 
Sorry, I forgot completely about this thread haha. I tried everything and my data still does not work for anything other than to download mms :/
