Verizon Officially Announces Gingerbread for Incredible

Verizon is pleased to announce a new software update, Build Number: 4.06.605.2; Baseband Version: 2.15.10.07.07, for your Droid Incredible. This update provides several improvements for your device, as well as upgrading to the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System.

Don't install the OTA update when prompted. You're running a rooted phone with a modified OS. rmk40 will hopefully be providing some guidance soon. Likely options include: 1) Instructions on how to install the update, loose root, and loose Virtuous; 2) Wait for a New Virtuous Release; 3) Get the Update with Root but no Virtuous.
