Root [Verizon] Problem with some of my music

I'm trying to get my music onto my phone and for some reason a few of my mp3s have really freaked out. They are suddenly 25-30 minutes long and just play the song over and over. I don't know what is happening, out of almost 200 songs so far only 4 or 5 had the problem.

I have tried opening them on my computer and the songs are the correct length.

I'm very confused. Help?

Very strange.

I think I would delete the copies on the phone and re-transfer from the computer.

Is this for the Verizon Galaxy S3? Are you rooted at all?
Does this happen with the stock rom or custom rom media player?

Try what SiempreTuna suggested to see if that resolves your issue

I have tried taking it off at least twice but it didn't work.

Yes it's a samsung galaxy s3.

I am VERY tech illiterate so I have done nothing to the phone and it's just playing on the player that the phone came with.
