Root [Verizon] Question about Moto X and the new DROID devices.

Since they are basically the same exact phone, if a root and/or boot loader exploit is found for any one of the devices, will it work on all the rest?

I know the Moto X is going to be released on all carriers, which puts a lot of incentive out there to get a root exploit out there by developers.

no not necessarily. You really just have to wait for some of the devices to land in the hands of the Hacker Gods.

There have been Moto devices in the past that were locked on one carrier and able to unlock on others.

i'd guess between the verizon moto X and droids yes. The bootloader on vzw might be locked differently than on gsm carriers

Open your email app.

Go to settings/menu.

Find the option labeled "Notifications."

Set it to whatever audio you desire.


You can do the same for almost every app BTW.
