Root [Verizon] Random shut downs

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here but it's great that "here" is still available

Dropped and cracked glass on my S3 about 2 months ago and have chosen not to fix since my VZW contract is over mid September and an planning to move on. The device seems to have considerately increased its self-imposed shut downs since that event and I am growing weary! Other than Gallery,I can't determine if any other particular apps cause this. (Gallery just seems to randomly act wonky all the time!)

Clearing cache and dalvik seems to help briefly but then back to the same. Sitting here eating breakfast I swiped the lock screen to wake the device and *BOOM* reboot! Argh! Any suggestions? Thanks

Happened to the wife's s3 . . . After a drop. Started randomly powering off. New battery solved it. Somehow the impact shorted the battery internally. Try it !

Btw . . . What carrier do you plan to "move on" to ?

About time I update! --

I had a battery laying in a drawer I forgot I had and tried it and BOOM! I think it's fixed!

Planning to try AT&T and HTC M8/// :smokingsomb:
