Root [Verizon] Reception Issues

I've updated to the latest leaked modem and still have issues with my signal. In the same places two iPhones, Droid Bionic, and Droid RAZR have 3/4G data/voice my phone gets no reception.

Is there any fix or advice for this issue or does the S3 just have a weaker radio?

Samsung is notorious for having weak cdma radios. This has been an issue going all the way back to their Galaxy S1 phones. Motorola tends to have the best radios in the business, which is why they seem very strong. I've never owned an iPhone, so I cannot comment on how good they are.
