Hi I recently bought a palm pixi plus and I intended on using it like an ipod just on wifi. When I got it and went to go through and get to the home screen I found out not to my surprise that you couldn't skip past the activation screen. Now I had known about this and I planned to switch the phone to one of my friends numbers just to get past the activation screen because the activation screen will not come up after it has been activated once. When I went to activate it the person whom number I was going to activate it on said that there was phone warranty or something and that it might void it if I proceeded so I stopped but what I was wondering is if there is anyway that I can do this without it voiding the warranty. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to just take the device in and tell them your story and that you'd like it activated and that you're worried about the warranty.

the warrant is generally the warranty no matter how many times or who has activated it....... youre not going to void it

but as Frisco said........ if youre that worried about it........ just take it into the store and they will handle it for you........ they know the routine
