Verizon roadmap shows Galaxy S II, 4G Curve, HTC Vigor, new 4G Galaxy Tab, more

I haven't seen anything but blatantly unfounded speculation, that the Stratosphere is the GSII.

That doesn't mean it's wrong, just that there is little evidence that it is the SGII.

I hope it is.

Most likely, Vigor won't suck.

Smart money says high-res screen, dual core LTE. Hopefully it lasts longer than a 15 year old's first...

Ah, let's just say, "Hopefully HTC has figured out their power management issues..."

it would be nice if the sgs2 was coming to us, but at the same time, it may be too late, i hope it comes in both 4g and 3g cause i dont want to pay 100$ extra for a phone when i cant use 4g cause it wont be in my area til 2013

Agreed, VS. But if it is 4G only, I'll pay the price to have the awesomeness of the phone.

Kind of night and day. HTC should had either waited and just gone to the Vigor as it looks like the Thunderbolt will have a short life.

Vigor: Android 2.3.4 smartphone with 1.5GHz processor and 720p resolution display.

What's the difference between the Vigor and the Thunderbolt?

If it is the Gs2, the Bionic sales will suffer. Moto should have figured things out faster and then they'd be the first out the door and would have racked up a ton of sales. As it is,I'm waiting to check both devices out and will choose then. I'm not sold on Bionic but I sure would have considered it had they brought it out a week ago....they blew it.

As I read in another thread, they developed their own LTE chip - and if it works as well as they think it will, it will open a whole new generation of phones that can run whatever processor they want along with Moto's LTE chip. That, in and of itself, could be a game changer for Moto.

Also, with such a recent redesign, I'm more inclined to buy the (currently) newer Bionic than the SGSII at this point in time, even with all the accolades that the SGSII has gotten.

anyone know about the samsung illusion. I had heard a rumor about Samsung slider with lte? could this be it. I like the droid 3, but didn't want to pull the trigger on a non 4G phone for the next 18 months, especially when I am in a prime 4G location.

I'm really curious to see if Samsung sticks to what we've seen before suggesting they will allow users free rein on the bootloader...
