Root [Verizon] Rooted my G2 and NOT sure if it's working

I had my g2 for Verizon rooted by a reputable business and they put superuser on it, and I was told I would be able to use font apps and such on it and I still can't..it tells me I have to root my phone. Help?
 
Have you tried installing a root checker app from the Play Store (there are many free ones out there) to see if you are indeed rooted?
Rooting the Verizon version yourself really isn't difficult. If you need help doing it yourself, let us know.
 
If you paid to have it rooted then you should get your money back if the root checker says it is not rooted.
 
Do that then come back here and learn how to root it. The LG is super easy to root. I will say, however, that it took me like awhile only because there was only little detail that I missed. If not for that if can done real quick.
