Greetings all! I need some advice with my new Verizon S3. I have had android devices in the past and wanted to utilize the S3 in the same fashion. I mount my phone on a windshield mount and utilize a 3.5 mm male-male cable from the phone's headset to the car stereo's Aux input. By doing so I can listen to music and use the stereo as an amplifier/hands free when making a phone call. The S3 unfortunately creates a terrible echo for the other caller on their end of their own voice.
I have tried sending the fade to the rear speakers, calling to different phones (ruling out the other caller's equipment), and any adjustments that are available when in "headset" mode. I called Verizon and they claim they have never heard of this and told me to call Samsung. I just got off the phone with Samsung and they said they are also not familiar with the issue, and since it is an issue with an accessory, there is nothing really they can do about it.
Has anyone else had this issue, and more importantly, found a solution?
