Verizon s3 switched to metro, won't work now?

Anybody else have a problem with switching a Verizon s3 to metro with BYOD? The phone works great and my metro SIM card was working great 30 seconds before I switched, but now it's saying SIM is unknown, can't make any calls, no internet... I know it has something to do with the settings. Tried setting the apn to metros standard settings, but Idk where to go from here. Any advice?

I could be wrong but I didn't think that the Verizon CDMA was compatible on Metro/T-Mobile network.

Not sure, does global fall under that category too? I've heard of other people on other forums switching Verizon s3's to metro while searching for a solution, but this is why I called them before spending money on a phone that wouldn't work... I honestly think it has to do with the settings.

Ah, it's a global device. OK. So it must be like the Verizon Iphone 5 then, cause I remember metro saying that it could be brought over, as long as it's SIM unlocked.

Yes, they took the imei #.. I had to use my SIM cause the Verizon ones don't work on metro. I also had to put the apn in bc it didn't switch automatically... is there anything else that may not have switched by itself?
