Root [Verizon] Since Loading Synergy Rom I Have Wifi Issues

Ever since I loaded SynergyRom my phone more often than not won't connect to Wifi without trying to force to do so one time after another. Before when I was completely stock or even after CleanRom was installed I had no issues. Matter of fact it would just connect on its own immediately when I arrived home or anywhere else where I've used WiFi.

After trying to connect multiple times in a row it eventually connects, but not long after it goes back to 3g or 4g depending on the location even though I've not moved.

Do any of you have any idea what the world the issue could be and whether I can get an app or something to fix this issue. I really do not want to change Roms, because except for this issue I love SynergyRom.

What version of Synergy are you on?

You may want to try the most recent release to see if you still have that issue and report it.

I was thinking the exact same thing and downloaded to my laptop already, but not to my phone yet! Thanks for the reply, because this confirms idea to do so was sound.

Well I loaded the latest version and it appears it has helped with the WiFi issues as my phone has stayed connected to WiFi for several hours straight.

However, even though I made to sure to do a backup with Titanium backup of everything on my phone it has not restored everything. Matter of fact previously I have purchased Titanium Back Up Pro, but now Google Play says I have to pay for it again. I also previously purchased Rom Manager Premium and it show is in list of apps, but for some reason even after I open it Rom Manager is not giving me the premium version..

Does the Ti Backup KEY page not let you install the key? (Does ROMMgr have a similar setup, installing the key separately?)

I don't like Synergy...for some reason when I was running it I had constant random reboots. Upon looking up the issue there seemed to be a lot of others complaining about the same thing. I'm running Beans 2.0 now and have to say this is the best ROM I've used so far on my GSIII, hands down.

I haven't had that problem. The truth is the few things I've had I'm such a noob I don't know if they were caused by something I did or didn't do.

I may have to check out Beans. I know I could go read about it, but may I ask what you like or prefer about Beans and from a end user point of view whats different about it?

The Key Page in the Play Store is saying it wants me to pay for it again.

Now I've run into another issue even though apps say they are loading from the play store they never actually do. I actually started down loading an app this morning starting about about 6:00 a.m. and it still said it was loading on 1:00 a.m..

With it took down re-loading Titanium Backup and the Key 3 times, but I've finally got it working.

Since, I've only updated to an the existing ROM to the newest version can I "Update all apps with data" with Titanium Backup Pro, at least in theory, without any issues.

It's super stable...lots of options...

There's lot of ROM's out there...check on XDA.
