Verizon & the Google Experience

I have the original Droid which came with plain vanilla Android. Since this phone was introduced, I know that "developer" phones have been released with a similar OS sans any 3rd party UI, but to the best of my knowledge none of them are on the Verizon network. Aside from the original Droid, has there been any other pure Google phones on Verizon? Are there any forthcoming?

No, the HTC phones have Sense UI, all the moto phones after the OG have Blur, Samsung phones have touchwiz, and LG has LG home. The Nexus S is the newest Google Experience phone released and I would not be suprised if we do not see any more. Each company is trying to set their phones apart from the competition not to mention the Nexus 1 sold very poorly compared to many other android phones. Depending how the Nexus S does over it's lifetime it may be the last Google experience phone you see.

The lg ally has stock android. There's an option between lg home and stock android experience

Okay I didn't realize that the ally had the option for vanilla...but I would not suggest going from the D1 to an Ally that would just seem like a downgrade. I would suggest getting a phone that has higher specs, the processor on the ally was sluggish on the pixi and didn't fair any better when it was put to the task of running android. A phone with the manfacture UI and higher specs would run better.
