Hi my friend had straight talk and his friend is going to give him a Verizon galaxy s phone can he flash it to Straight talk

If you know what your doing but i don't think were allowed to talk about this here but i could be mistaken. But a carrier flash can be done.

Straight Talk has a BYOP CDMA program that will accept 3G only Verizon phones. They should be able to do it for you, or their website should be able to walk you through the procedure.
