Root [Verizon] Triangle of death Verizon S3

I did the Oden Root. It was successful the phone worked great. My superuser was working just fine. I have Rom Manager pro. I put my phone into recovery and flashed Clean Rom. Which is the same one I used on my old S3. Everything went as planned. going thru the promps and all. when it was done I clicked re boot. and the phone has a triangle and says carrier doesn't support. Take to nearest Verizon store..

Hmmm, recovery can be tricky to get into sometimes.
I think you are using the volume up/power/home to try to get into recovery?

That triangle warning I believe is the result of your bootloader still being locked. I think:)

Can you provide a link to that root method you used?

my little lock is unlocked then triangle. Only after I went to recovery and did the Clean rom flash from phone only

You mean this icon?:

o.k...good...that would appear to me that your bootloader is unlocked:)

Now, back to recovery....
Try this....turn the device off, wait a few until the phone completely powers down...hold down the volume up and home button and the power button.
Keep holding the buttons until the screen lights up and release only the power button until the recovery screen comes on....then release the other 2 buttons.

I think you had mentioned in your p.m. to me, that you are unsuccessful with that method?

odd
Does your phone operate ok otherwise?
If so,
We can get into recovery one of 2 ways.
The first is to long press the power button and choose the option to boot into recovery (not available in all roms and I don't think its available on the stock rom)

Second method of getting into recovery via this app, Quick Boot.
Download that app and open it up and you have the option to boot into recovery.:)

If that still does not work, I think we'll have to install recovery via ODIN.

Sweet.:)
Download the latest TWRP from here (the last one on the bottom that says "openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-d2vzw.tar") to flash via ODIN .

Uncheck the "Auto Reboot" box. (this way, your phone won't try to reboot after ODIN does its thing)
Use the "PDA" box in ODIN to install that .tar file.
When done installing (PASS), unplug the device, and pull battery.

Then try to get into recovery with that 3 button combo:)

could my issue be happening because I did not uncheck auto reboot during my root process. I will do this process tonight. I am at work right now. I will let you know when done. Thanks again Mike

Not sure as that rooting process that you linked, I am not familiar with.

Worst case scenario here, is we can get you back to unroot status, then reroot with a simpler way of rooting:)

No worries, we'll get ya going:)

I'm leaving work now, so I'll check back in, in about 90 minutes when I'm home. :)

Sounds Good. I am at work for another 5 hours or so. I will try and do it tonight. If not it will be tomorrow night for sure. I will keep you informed..
