it would not work.
the message said "not enough room, it requires xxxx gB of space, and there is only 150 mB left....
that was no surprise, as my SuperBackups defaulted to saving backups of all the apps to the Local Device.....
not a problem for me..... as it just might be the Straw that Prevents Verizon from installing 6.0 on my S5.
Now, I have read of a couple of folks, 2 at a minimum, that MM crashed while installing, and the phone is essentially bricked.
When I saw the above message today, it jogged my memory about those 2 previous MM crashes on updates.
I am wondering if their phones had almost enough memory to start the upgrade, but ran out of room for the install before it completed?
Before, I delete all the apps off the Local Device and allow MM to proceed, I would really appreciate hearing from folks who have MM on their phones.
Any problems with it? Wish it had not happened, or is it better than Sliced Bread??
My Note 4 died on me two days ago, and I pulled the SIM out of it, plugged it into the S5 and it fired right up, just like always. Never bobbled. I was elated, back in business with a working phone again.... it did not even know it had not been in service for 6 months....
Looking for another Note 4, or better device to replace it, but before that happens, I want to know if I should allow MM to install on this S5???
Thanks to all in Advance. It is super neat to have a Backup Phone in case the one you are using crashes
