Verizon upgrade question

prolly been asked before but I dont understand it. I went on my verizion today and it said that my phone is eligable for an upgrade on 11/12/11 but my contract doesn't end till March of 2012. How much of a discount will I get in November? I am the primary Line

That's clear as mud. I can get a $30-$100 credit on a $600 phone? I think the way it works is that you can get a new every two after something like 20 months.
