Root [Verizon] Whats your favorite ROM?

I am fairly new to rooting, just rooted my first device last week, but I'm loving it.

After using my rooted S3 with stock firmware for a few days, I decided to flash a new ROM. First one I tried was CleanROM 6, and although it was better than stock, it still felt a tad sluggish. Now I'm on Carbon 1.6.1 (JB 4.2.2) and it is amazing. No slowdown whatsoever, no glitches so far, LMT Pie Launcher runs smooth as butter, I couldn't be happier.

Are there any ROMs out there that you guys prefer over the others?

I would like to try some new ones but Carbon is so good I'm afraid I will just end up going right back to it. haha.
 
Maybe I'm easy to please but I've been running CleanRom for a long time. I recently went to CleanRom 6 R2 and I am very pleased! Someday when I have the time to fiddle with 'learning' another ROM, I will try some of the others mentioned here :)

Check out Carbon. IMO it is substantially faster all around than CleanROM. Not saying CleanROM is bad by any means, I loved it, but I just like Carbon better. =]

Like I said, I will at some point when I have the time to mess with it! Flashing, for me, takes a sizable amount of my day :eek:

I hear you man, each time I flash a new ROM I stay up all night playing with it. XD And I work 6am to 9pm so staying up late is a bad idea.
 
I am using CleanRom right now and I'm scared to try something else just because it would take forever to get my screen exactly like I want it.

Yeah, sometimes I think I should do a screen 'make-over' so that when I change ROM's, I can tell the difference between the new one and the old one! I find I'm in kind of a habit with the way I lay out my screens :o
 
Me too just got this new phone and my screens and the screens after the same expect I got live wallpaper this time:o

Where did you get Carbon 1.7? I'm on 1.6 and I thought it was the most recent.

EDIT: I'm running 1.7, the link on this site still showd 1.6 thats why I thought I was on 1.6. lol. I'm new to this game but I'm getting the hang of it. haha.

@RoWilJr, do you have any issues streaming bluetooth media? (audio) It sometimes cuts out for a second in my car, but I had a few issues previously so I didn't know if it was this ROM or just my cars bluetooth.
 
I am looking for a root that will let me organize my photos and videos. like a album . I really want to keep my private photos safe and not popping up on facebook or in the share option. whats best.

Currently running Carbon 1.6 and i am very satisfied with it. The only issue i have is that since i use my device to tether, i have issues when I receive a call and i am currently tethered to my xbox 360 or desktop and the phone freezes up so i have to pull the battery.
