So VoLTE only works between 2 VZW VoLTE phones? Pointless.

And even if you start with a good signal, if you leave LTE the call drops.

I have to say, until their coverage area is 100% LTE, this is a non-starter. Also, will it come out of your data bucket? What about video calls, will they?

Six months ago I never saw anything but 4G signal on my phone. Now I'm in 3G or even 1x (rarely, but it does happen) 30-40% of the time. That has to be fixed before VoLTE is a viable option.

There is a line running through my house, in the back I get a decent-ish 4G signal but in the front I get a very weak 3G signal. Yeah, I could have fun trying to make VoLTE work!!

I thought I read that video calls would use both minutes and data, and calls would just be minutes/calls? Maybe I mis-read though?
