Those who pick up the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from Verizon will be greeted by a software update notification. Verizon has announced that a new software build is available for the phone which includes an "Android security patch." This security update is likely related to the quad-rooter vulnerabilities which were brought to lights a few weeks back.
