Vertical lines on screen

I was playing a game and suddenly my entire screen went to horizontal lines, but i could still hear the game.

I had to shut phone by holding down power button, and the"M" for Motorola screen came up for about 1 minute, then finally screen came back. Is my phone screen going out?

It hasn't done it again. I haven't dropped it, and it is in a good phone case.

If it only happens while playing games, your device's hardware is outdated, the GPU is unable to properly handle the graphic.

If it happens for no reason at all, it's could be a loosen cable connector.
