Very hard to screenshot on Snapchat! (Power + home)

Lately with using snapchat it is almost impossible to screen capture anything . The swiping gesture doesn't work because it'll just close a snap. The power plus home button works about 50% of the time, and if it doesn't work, then my snap is gone forever because the power dialog and home screen both cause snaps to be instantly closed. The timing of the button presses has to be EXACTLY perfect in order for a screenshot to be taken. Because of this I've lost many pictures I've wanted to save.

There is no setting that I've found to make screenshotting more reliable. Is there anything I can do??

Should work, as long as you have ok Google enabled

I'm not excited at the prospect of Google possibly listening in on me at all times, but also because I would assume that that has increased battery drain at all times.

Would be great if their was a setting for increased toletance for the button presses timing.

Are you sure you have gestures enabled?

Yep I'm sure. It's just that when you hand swipe it moves the screen a bit, because until you've finished the gesture the phone just registers it as regular touch. That'll close the snap.
