very large app 233mb problem

how much can the sd card hold. my app is 233mbs and i have been told that the app 3mbs can be downloaded first and then the video 230mbs next but can the card and memory have enough space.
 
SD cards vary in capacity, but 230MB is not a lot, so should easily fit, unless you've filled up the card with other stuff.
