I've had my Infuse for about six months, and have still not been able to solve this issue. I use the application called Skifta to stream my media from my desktop pc to my phone. I only use it on the local network so I don't get crazy data charges. To play the videos I use MX Video Player.
I don't know what's causing this to happen... could be the application, could be the phone, could be my networking... although I don't think it's my networking since I have verizon fios.
Basically, what happens is that when I play a video file using Skifta, the video is almost always at least 5 seconds behind the audio. I think it may be the video codecs that cause this, but it works fine on my computer. I also sometimes have issues with sound cutting out completely after I start the video. The only thing that fixes that is to either backtrack or forward track to reset it. That also may be an issue with audio codecs.
Does anyone know of any applications that might be better at handling these issues? I.E. more codec support, better streaming, etc?
