Help Very strange question

I have a very strange question to ask the people who
know how the android phones work over the iPhones. I
have a new iPhone 6, before I had that I'd given a Xperia
z2 a try and liked some of the things on it. But I sent it
back and bought the iPhone 6. Now that the Xperia z3 is
coming out, I've seen where Sony has taken care of a few
of the problems that I had with it. So the question is
how could I keep the iPhone 6 for the Phone use and
get the Xperia Z3 for the camera and other stuff. Would
the Xperia z3 work over WiFi without a sim card in it?
I know this must sounds pretty weird, but I would lose
a fair bit of money to change now, but really would like to
give the Xperia Z3 a try. Thanks.

Yeah it would work fine with no SIM card and just using WiFi.

Seems like a very strange decision to be making though? Your worries about losing money on the iPhone purchase but your willing to spend another

My suggestion: buy the xperia. If you don't like it, send it back. If you love it, sell the iPhone. No money lost. Hope you find your solution! ☺
