Help VERY tight earphone jack

Title says it all. I have to push hard for the connector to "click" in, and when I'm pulling it out, I feel like I'm going to break it. It's the same for any other pair of earphones I have tried.

Is the jack supposed to be this tight or is my phone faulty?

Mine is the same, at first it concerned me, but it seems normal now

I don't have any trouble with mine, and I use the headset jack every morning. It seems no tighter or looser than any other headset jack I have used.

I noticed this too but it isn't so tight that I feel like I'm going to break it. However, it has crossed my mind when I'm pulling the headphones out...

Had similar problem when I first inserted headphones, but after I worked it in it is fine. I asked the Verizon rep if that was normal & he said yes....so no worries.

Same problem here. Mine's so tight that i have to push very hard for headphone to go in.
