I would like to introduce you the application I have created.
Viamici is the first map georeferencing application for the Android platform and the first such a solution on the mobile market. It will allow you to see your current position on top of a map image. The map image can be for example a photo of a map sign encountered on a trail, a photographed or scanned paper map or any map image found on the Internet-simply, any map saved in a graphic file (e.g., JPG, PNG).
