Help Vibration for Yahoo SMS/Yahoo Text Messages

Hi

My Galaxy Ace 5830 with Android 2.2.1 does not have Vibration setting for SMS. When I go to Messages > Menu > Settings > Notification Setting, I only have option of seleting a ringtone. There is no option to turn on vibration. I think because of this, Yahoo Messenger also does not vibrates on receiving text messages.

I want my phone to vibrate when it receives a text message on Yahoo Messenger, which is already set to vibrate on receiving text message, but does not vibrate because perhaps there is no setting in the phone to vibrate on receiving SMS. Maybe if my phone vibrates on SMS, it would also vibrate for yahoo text messages.

Please also suggest if there any Google Play aap to active vibration for Yahoo Messenger text message.

Check the sound settings in the settings menu, otherwise upgrade your software, you are running 3 years old froyo.

Ofcourse, samsung maybe one of the worst at software support but even they gave some upgrades while the phone was still giving good sales.
The latest official version is gingerbread 2.3.6 in most regions and 2.3.4 in some.
