Android faulty OS

Guest
Hey guys I have a Galaxy s4 android that i have had for a few months now and a while back i began to run into some weird issues.
First thing is that the phone will try and turn on and usually get stuck on the pulsing Samsung logo screen. If it makes it past this point the phone will turn on with only a battery, clock, and no wireless signal symbol at the top of the screen (even when i know i have a working SIM card inserted) Then if i try to unlock the phone it becomes unresponsive. If i wait, a message will pop up saying Android service has crashed. If i close this dialogue box usually the phone will automatically shut down and go back to the Samsung logo screen and get stuck again. I have taken the battery and SIM card out as other forums have suggested and this seems to work sometimes as the phone will boot up normally and function normally except a few major things. Audio will work for a short period of time but then stop completely or not work at all. No sound from the headphone jack or phone speaker. Only vibration works to alert me if i have a call/msg but then if its a call it wont matter because i cant hear the person calling. If i try to playback any form of video that i have recorded with the phone or on an app like Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat or Netflix the playback is choppy and slow motion also with no sound. So far i have tried clearing cache, factory restore twice , clearing mem, smacking the phone, fiddling with the AUX jack and deleting apps but nothing seems to work.. anyone else have a similar problem? Next thing i will try is a firmware reflash. I have been dealing with these problems for some time as i dont want to send my phone in and be further inconvenienced. Any help is greatly appreciated

Since you've already done the usual fixes like a battery pull, factory reset, etc you well could have a hardware problem rather than software. I'd backup everything while the phone is still semi-functional and send it in on warranty as soon as possible.
