Video camera light??

On the behold 2 there is no light when in the video mode like with the regular behold. Sometimes I would like to shoot videos of the kids outside at night but the lighting is bad. I downloaded momentflash and love it. I used that while video recording it worked great. My only concern is the warning with momentflash that says
"overuse of the flash may damage it especially in bright mode"
Is there anything that can be done to have a light when recording? Or to dim the light a bit?

a video less than 1 min should be fine, you just dont want to leave the light on for long periods of time! your current setting is in the dim mode, bright mode only last for about 3 seconds then the light color turns blueish

I was wondering why you can use the light on the behold but not the behold 2?
