Video file lost format

I had a video file taken with my Droid 3 that was playable on my phone and was a video file. I moved it's location and it went from a video file to just a file. The video player does not recognize it as a video file...

Help???

Either your video player can only play files from one location or more likely, the file was not copied properly and has been corrupted.

If the file was moved recently, you could try recovering the original using one of the file recovery tools from the Play Store.

The other thing to try would be moving the file back to it's original location, but you need to try the recovery first as moving the file back might overwrite data the recovery tool would need.
