Video format or mime type not supported...

I get this "video format or mime type not supported" message when I try to play a streaming live video on a particular site. I have Flash installed but it won't play live video on the site, I've tried Firefox and Dolphin.

So I've discovered that Photon browser with its ability to play Flash video without the Flash plugin will play the video. It's far from ideal - 'Flash sessions' are time limited when you're away from the tab, limited to one tab and the ads in the free version are obtrusive as possible.
